technology and gave me the opportunity to explore and experiment with
an amazing variety of leading edge technology.
Incredibly, it also gave me early exposure to DARPAnet, the Defense
Advanced Research Project Agency project that eventually became the
bedrock of the internet.

entire midwestern part of the country. I learned to speak in

to develop skills as an instructor.

and our family moved to Connecticut.

expertise in negotiating with multiple groups and countries
and balancing conflicting needs, and in forecasting revenue and
expenses
(sounds like a City Council position, doesn't it).

with two of the largest IBM customers in the country to develop new
relationships and explore new technologies.

was through this activity that I became involved with a variety of
publishing products and techniques, and the precursor technologies that
led to the internet's worldwide web.

entered the management consulting business, assisting
clients in developing and implementing business strategies.
This also evolved into assisting clients to successfully implement
large scale mergers and acquisitions.

focus was primarily in the insurance
industry and my clients include many
of the largest insurance companies in the country.
